PLEASE NOTE: This lot was sold in an online benefit auction where all proceeds went to the Whyte Museum in Banff, Alberta and there was no Buyer's Premium.; Made from salvaged beehive bases found in a shed of an apoary purchased by the artist. Approximately 160 of these panels were charred and carved by chainsaw, photographed and edited into an animation of a flickering flame. They were exhibited as a wall installation and released to collectors. Firewall was exhibited at the Whyte Museum in 2004 as part of Elemental Inspiration
