His sculptural ceramic pieces are held in public collections in Canada and abroad, as well as in many private collections in Canada, the United States, and around the world. His work takes inspiration from numerous sources, including the natural world, historical sites of earlier civilizations, architectural design and function, the process of erosion and its 'drawing' on the earth, to name a few. He is also keenly interested in the influence of the natural environment on human culture - and conversely, the impact of human activity on that environment.
