PLEASE NOTE: This lot was sold in an online benefit auction where all proceeds went to the Whyte Museum in Banff, Alberta and there was no Buyer's Premium.; Born in Kirkenes , Norway, and currently living in Banff, Canada, Roy Andersen has been a commercial photographer for more then 30 years, focusing on the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the prairie landscape and the American Southwest. McDougall Church, located on the Morley Stoney Reserve west of Calgary was built in 1875. Fire destroyed the church some 10 years ago. Rebuilding of the historic [Heritage] church is pending.
