Biographical Information
Jack [Jac] Elmo King ~ [1920-1998] American
King was born in Phoenix, Arizona. After serving with the US Navy in WWII, he trained for two years at the Los Angeles Art Centre School. Despite working full-time in the aerospace industry as a draftsman/design engineer, he continued to paint whenever possible. After retirement, in 1970, he painted full-time and his work was marketed exclusively through an agent in Canada. He exhibited for many years at the Calgary Stampede Western Art Auction.
