Reference
The grain elevator in 'Gray Matter' is based on the United Grain Grower's elevator located in Silverton, Manitoba. It is one of the few elevators to feature a checkerboard pattern on the cupola.

Sarah [SLAMO] Lamoureux ~ [21st century] Canadian
Sarah Lamoureux, also known as 'SLAMO,' is a Calgary-born artist & information designer. She is self-taught and discovered her style while experimenting with some ‘reject’ paints from her [now] husband in 2020. Since then, she’s created several installations and surreal paintings, blending her love for design and geometry with a sense of imagination and otherworldly exploration. This includes a solo gallery show at Wild Skies Gallery in Edmonton as well as a gallery spot at the Calgary Stampede Art Show.
