Sara Robichaud is a mid-career visual artist based on Vancouver Island. Primarily known as a formalist painter, her recent work explores feminine perspectives, memory, place, ritual, spirituality and ecology through site- specific installation and monumental 1:1-scale paintings. Robichaud holds an MFA from the University of Victoria [2009] and a BFAH from Queen’s University [1995]. Recent exhibitions include Objet D’Art [2026, solo] at THIS Gallery, Vancouver; Small Gatherings [2020] at Nanaimo Art Gallery; and Spectral [2019, solo] at Herringer-Kiss Gallery, where she is
represented. Her work is held in public, corporate and private collections, including Global Affairs Canada, Fairmont Baku Flame Towers and Princess Noura of Saudi Arabia.
