Biographical Information
Douglas Hector Haynes ~ [1936-2016] Canadian ASA, RCA
Born and raised in Regina, Haynes graduated from Alberta College of Art in 1958. He worked for the Department of Public Works as art advisor for the Government of Alberta. Haynes became a professor in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Alberta in 1970 and stayed until 1995. He received the Alberta Centennial Medal for the arts in 2006.
