Biographical Information
George Melville Wood ~ [1932-2025] Canadian
Born and raised in Regina. Wood painted interior scenes and still lifes from the isolation caused by the harsh environment of winter prairies. He studied painting at the Alberta College of Art and sculpture at the University of Manitoba. He worked as the curator for the art gallery and taught at the Alberta College of Art.
