Biographical Information
George Melville Wood ~ [1932-2025] Canadian
born and raised in Regina. He paints interior scenese and still lifes from the isolation caused by the harsh environment of winter prairies. Wood studied painting at the Alberta College of Art and sculpture at the University of Manitoba. He worked as the curator for the art gallery and taugh at the Alberta College of Art.
