Reference
Artist Statement: 'Almost home' was painted after an inspiring hike up, around and into the upper Margaret Falls. It has series of peak a views through the forest and into the gem of flowing water below that lends itself to painting. I endeavoured to capture the feeling of being amazed by creation revealed with luscious colour, and bold and strokes of paint to remind me of the comfort of our future home in heaven.

Provenance
generously donated by the artist; proceeds will be donated to the Art Gallery of Alberta [AGA] in Edmonton. These lots are being offered as part of their Art on the Block event that happened in June - the fundraiser featured the talent, resilience and impact of women and underrepresented artists. This year's theme, Empowered, raises vital funds to support the AGA and the arts community. For more information or to donate directly, visit youra
