LEVIS believes this to be a view of the eastern end of Prince's Island looking across to Sunnyside; there was a weir built at the end of Prince's Island in 1893 to provide power generation for the Calgary Water Power Company [subsiduary of the Eau Claire Lumber]; by the late 1950's the weir had been removed
from a Calgary estate
